Etienne Potgieter has been surfing for 32 years.

He has competed at provincial and international level but mostly concentrated on the free surfing aspect of the sport.

Having worked closely with various photographers he has featured in many articles for Zigzag, Surfer Magazine and Tracks. This took him to many destinations around the world surfing some of the best waves on offer.

The last 11 years he has focused on getting as barreled as possible at the world famous Skeleton Bay. He has a knack for breaking down surfing technique and analyzing surfing.
